Comparative Study between Milligan Morgan Versus Ligasure Haemorrhoidectomy

Purpose of Study: To compare the short term outcome Ligasure haemorrhoidectomy with Milligan Morgan technique for third and fourth degree haemorrhoids. Design The present study was a single-blind randomized controlled trial. Duration Location This trial conducted at Akhtar Saeed Trust Teaching Hospital, Lahore. is 6 months June 2021 to December 2021. Patients Methods: A total 80 subjects suffering from 3rd or 4th haemorrhoids were enrolled in divided into two groups using lottery method. An informed written consent taken all patients. group (LS group) underwent while patients B (MM haemorrhoidectomy. Mean standard deviation calculated numerical variables like age, operation time postoperative pain on VAS score. Frequency percentage categorical gender, disease severity, bleeding, occurrence urinary retention, anal stenosis necrosis. SPSS version 22.0 used data analysis. Results had mean age 41.54±6.380 years within range 35-62 years.
